A week ago today, me and the rest of my group participated in the Silver Practice Expedition. For us, this counted as our qualifying expedition.
We followed a 7 mile route around Wooler and the Cheviots and used the map to navigate through hills, forests and fields. With that being said, I will admit that most of us did get fired along the way. Once we got to the campsite- Highburn House- we all started to enjoy ourselves more.
First, we set up our tent. Then, we played some card games together and then cooked our dinner. Finally, we went to sleep in our tents. Tomorrow, I will upload part 2 of my story that discusses day 2 of the expedition.
